THE TIME IS NOW TO GET YOUR NEW ONLINE BANKING SET UP!
ONLINE BANKING FIRST-TIME LOGIN
-From our homepage: www.bankkansas.com, click the GREEN BUTTON on the left that says ONLINE BANKING.
-Enter your user ID – to be found at the top of the letter you received in the mail. Contact us if you do not have your letter.
-Leave the password section blank.
-Check the box beside "This is my first time logging in." and enter.
-There should be at least one delivery method option (voice, email, text) for receiving your Secure Access Code. Choose which method you want the system to use to deliver your code to you.*
-Once you receive your code (this should take less than 2 minutes), enter the code in the indicated field and enter.
-You will be asked to create a password. You will need to remember this password for future logins.
-Once that password is accepted you will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions.
-The next screen will ask you to complete your identifying and contact information.
-The next screen will be your Online Banking screen where you can see your balances, view transactions and check images, make transfers, etc.
SECOND STEP - REGISTERING YOUR COMPUTER
(ONLY do this step if you are on a private computer)
-Sign off from Online Banking by clicking the "Sign off" button on the left-hand side.
-Log back on using your Login ID AND Password you just created and click the Login button.
-You should be prompted to get a Secure Access Code. Choose the delivery method of how you would like the code sent to you.
-Once you receive your code, enter the code in the indicated field and hit continue.
-Click the box that says, "Activate this computer for later use" and hit continue.
-You should see your account(s).
*Secure Access Code: As a security measure, you will need to receive a new Secure Access Code each time the Online Banking system needs extra verification of your identity. Those times will include:
- First-time login
- Using an unfamiliar or unregistered computer
- Forgotten password
The Secure Access Code can be delivered to you by telephone, email, or text. We have entered the contact information we have on file for you. If you would like to add a different phone number or email address, please send that information to Leigh@bankkansas.com. If you have no delivery method presented to you upon your first login attempt, then we did not have your information. You will thus be prevented from completing your first login and will need to contact us to update your login profile.
