100 Years in the Making

The staff at First State Bank attribute their accomplishments to hard work, listening to the needs of the customers, and by providing individual customer service, as well as offering the best financial services that are available in banking today. For over one hundred years people have made a difference for First State Bank, and this holds true today.

The year is now 1996, one hundred years after the doors of First State Bank were first opened to a town without a bank. First State Bank's growth throughout those one hundred years has been steady and strong. Always looking for the best ways to serve their customers and the community. A great deal about Larned and Pawnee County has changed since 1896, but the one thing that has always remained the same is the quality people who work at First State Bank and the commitment they share to the future of the community of Larned and the surrounding area.

The Board of Directors and Staff at First State Bank look forward to serving the needs of the area and its citizens for many years to come.

We hope that you have enjoyed our historical walk in the past as we've reflected on the past one hundred years at First State Bank and the events that have affected all of our lives.
